Aged in new and older French oak barrels for a period of 9 months to produce a big, richer style of Chardonnay. Bright yellow straw colour with a watery hue. Ripe peach and apricot scents mingle with hints of honeycomb, butterscotch and spicy nougat. Mouth filling ripe peach, apricot and honeycomb flavours carry a creamy textural feel over a back drop of bacon fat, butterscotch and spicy nougat. Excellent concentration finishing with a lick of fresh acidity on the long richly textured and toasty aftertaste.
