MERLESCO 
Perfect for sharing with friends on a warm summer evening, Merlesco is a deliciously uncomplicated, juicy and fresh ‘little Merlot’.  Enjoy this young red lightly chilled and served alfresco over Summer.  
TASTING NOTE 
Vibrant bouquet of blackberry, blueberry and cherry fruit. Juicy young forest fruits are balanced by good acidity and soft tannins on the palate. Deliciously refreshing and quaffable. 
VINEYARD REGIONS  
Our McLaren Vale vineyard on the valley floor enjoys sunny days and cooling evening breezes from the nearby ocean. 
VINTAGE CONDITIONS  
The weather remained cool until the end of March, when days warmed quickly. Low yields and a dry start to the year accelerated ripening. Harvest was completed in perfect autumn weather by late 
March. 
WINEMAKING 
Night harvesting and stainless-steel fermentation kept the fruit pristine and created a wine that is rich, soft, and full of juicy fruit. Light pumping-over to extract colour was followed by gentle pressing and just four months ageing in old oak barrels to keep the fruit flavours fresh and young.
