Deep dark red black colour with a dark to brick red hue. Top notes of mulberry and rhubarb meld into earthy tobacco, stalky cedar and spice notes. Medium bodied, the mulberry and rhubarb fruits show a fleshy generosity with cedary tobacco, earth and spicy dried herb characters on the back half. Dryish finish with grainy tannins, the aftertaste picking up some bitter stalk like elements.
