The ‘Entrada’ range of wines are made in a modern, approachable, drink now style. Inspired by Winemaker Alan Varney’s time in the small Portuguese town of Entradas, in Alentejo, where he lived a vintage in 2017.

“Improbably, it may seem, this has similar weight and mouthfeel to a classy 2yo pinot noir. Its floral bouquet nearly makes way to outright perfume, the palate a delicious offering of small red fruits. It’s not profound, but what there is, is faultless, the length ditto.” – 95 Points – Halliday Top 100, The Weekend Australian

WINEMAKING

The Entrada GMT takes its cue from the bright and fresh Joven (‘young’) wines of Spain. Early picked for vibrancy. Cold soaked for 2-3 days, partial whole bunch fermentation, pressed to seasoned French Barriques for short maturation.
FOOD PAIRING
