The ‘Entrada’ range of wines are made in a modern, approachable, drink now style. Inspired by Winemaker Alan Varney’s time in the small Portuguese town of Entradas, in Alentejo, where he lived a vintage in 2017.

• THE VINEYARD

  • Grenache – 60+ year old bush vines grown in Blewitt Springs and Seaview sub-regions, McLaren Vale.
  • Mourvèdre – 20 year old vines in White’s Valley, McLaren Vale.
  • Touriga Nacional – 10 year old vines in Seaview, McLaren Vale.

• WINEMAKING

  The Entrada GMT takes its cue from the bright and fresh Joven (‘young’) wines of Spain. Early picked for vibrancy. Cold soaked for 2-3 days, partial whole bunch fermentation, pressed to seasoned French Barriques for short maturation.

  This bright vibrant red loves pizza nights and sunny barbeque gatherings.
