Description
The Small Batch Release wines are our winemaking playground, a place to push the boundaries with smaller ferments and, when we make something delightful, share it with our friends.
We are thrilled to announce the release of our 2023 Montepulciano, following the tremendous success of our 2022 vintage, which garnered numerous prestigious awards – Gold Medal Winner at various competitions including Royal Melbourne Wine Show, McLaren Vale Wine Show, and Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show. This new vintage promises to uphold the exceptional quality and distinctive character that have made our Montepulciano a favorite among wine enthusiasts and critics alike.
This is our ‘Tom Hanks’ wine. I mean, who doesn’t like Tom Hanks? Universally loved, versatile and dependable. Just like Tom, this wine adds a bit of polish and elevates any situation you put it in.
Need an after-work drink? Tick! Need a gift to impress? Sorted! Seriously, we have done the hard work making a great wine, you just need to find the excuse to drink it.
Speaking of which, this ‘Monte’ has flavours of cherry, blackberry and plum that evolve into chocolate, clove and peppery spices with a hint of thyme. Line it up against pizza, practically any red meat or braised vegetables and you have a winning combination.
