This 2022 Margaret River Cabernet blend of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc, 21% Malbec and 14% Merlot matured in 20% new French oak for 10 months. Midnight black heart with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olive mix with earthy tobacco, toasty cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied and sturdy in its feel, blackcurrant and black olive flavours meld into an earthy tobacco, dried herb and spicy cedar back drop. Firmish tannins lend a grippy feel to the mid length finish.
