Fruit is sourced from vines planted in 2016 at Neil and
Heather Grace’s Home Block vineyard in Watervale, Clare
Valley. Heavy loam over limestone.
A cool and dry ripening period provided the perfect conditions
for the flavours in this vintage to naturally reach their peak.
Following harvest, the wine underwent a 14-day fermentation
process, with an additional 10 days of post-fermentation
maceration to enhance its complexity and structure. The
wine was then matured for 18 months, with 50% of the aging
taking place in one- and two-year-old oak barrels
