Product Description
Bright, medium deep purple. Vibrant floral perfume, forest floor and blueberry fruit aroma. Medium body, juicy concentrated red and blueberry fruit and earthy spice. subtle cedar oak lift, balanced acidity and silky smooth tannins.
Fruit is sourced from vines planted in 2016 at Neil and Heather Grace’s Home Block vineyard in Watervale, Clare Valley. Heavy loam over limestone. A cool and dry ripening period provided the perfect conditions for the flavours in this vintage to naturally reach their peak.
Following harvest, the wine underwent a 14-day fermentation process, with an additional 10 days of post-fermentation maceration to enhance its complexity and structure. The wine was then matured for 18 months, with 50% of the aging taking place in one- and two-year-old oak barrels.
