Maturation: the grapes were harvested by hand by successive sorting. The harvest was late and the grapes were picked, botrytised and dried.
Soil: this 100% Chenin Blanc is grown on clay-limestone soils on the north bank of the Loire, on the slopes of Vouvray.
Colour: the colour is straw yellow and brilliant.
Nose: the nose is complex with aromas of white flowers, candied citrus fruits, lifted by vanilla and honeyed nuances.
Palate: on the palate, dried fruit flavours dominate with a fleeting smoky note. The suppleness and delicacy of this wine give it a beautiful elegance.
