Tasting Notes

• Aroma, A perfumed wine with perfumed rose petals, dark
  cherry and spice. 
• Palate, A medium bodied wine with bright cherry and red currant fruits on the front palate. It has a firm line of acid and finishes with lingering spice notes. 
• Food Pairing, Chickpea pancakes with rainbow chard and spicy lamb.
• Drinking window, Drinking well young but will peak in 5-7 years

Winemaking Notes

Early signs are this is a classic vintage and potentially one the best of the century thus far. Good winter rains provided us with slightly above average crops. A mild, dry and long summer prevailed and produced wines of great balance and structure. Excellent varietal characters and flavours across all varieties.

Open stainless steel fermentation for 10 days. 

Matured in older French oak hogsheads and puncheons
