Reviews
Gold (95 points) from Halliday Wine Companion
"Grenache from 1989 vines in Willunga and 2019 vines in Seaview. Rose gold/coral hue, with lifted fruit notes of wild raspberry, blood orange, pink grapefruit, strawberry cream and sumac. This is satisfyingly dry, with a mouth-watering pithiness making this quite savoury on the palate, and deliciously so, beckoning for food. There’s so much flavour here, but elegance of expression is another feature, as is excellent length." - Marcus Ellis
Tasting Notes
- Aroma: Perfumed nose of lifted rosewater, orange zest, citrus blossom and hints of fragrant spice.

- Food Pairing: Fig and goats cheese tart
- Drinking window: enjoy now, drink now to 2027
Winemaking Notes
This Rosé is a blend of two Grenache vineyards - one in Willunga planted in 1989 and the other in an elevated terraced vineyard in the Seaview region planted in 2019. The two parcels were harvested in the cool of the morning and pressed on receival at the winery to minimise skin contact and colour pick up.
The juice was fermented under cool conditions to retain aromatics, and both parcels were lees stirred post-fermentation for a few weeks to add a textural element to the wine.
