An exhibition of tropical fruit, honey dew melon, and citrus blossoms. Medium bodied, tropical fruit and melons follow through to the palate joined by stone fruit. The textural quality of Fiano shines through, providing a lovely softness that complements the bright flavours and acid line.
Owing to its Italian roots, Fiano is a consummate pairing to seafood pasta dishes, fresh cheeses, cold cuts, and even spicy or sour cuisines - think Thai, Vietnamese, or Chinese.
The 13th release of this wine and the pure ‘drinkability’ of Fiano continues to win admirers from all walks of life. This wine will only continue that trend. Sourced from Pikes' own Polish Hill River Estate and a Leasingham vineyard, we see this variety as having a strong future in the Clare Valley.
