This wine has a bold concentrated flavour yet delivered with utter elegance and effortlessness. Black and blue fruit, damson plum and purple fig, a lift of red apple skin, freshly polished leather, iodine, graphite almost. It’s bloody, it’s meaty, it’s a haunting flavour of perfectly ripe and refined fruit with a mouthwatering, deeply savoury-salty infusion. Simply beautiful.
