Best's Old Vine Pinot Meunier is an extraordinary wine that embodies elegance and heritage.
Made from the original 1868 plantings of Pinot Meunier, this wine showcases the distinct character and complexity derived from mature vines.

Our Old Vine Pinot Meunier is a testament to our commitment to producing wines of exceptional quality, reflecting the unique characteristics of our old vineyards and the region's terroir.
It is a wine that captivates the senses, revealing the depth and nuance that can be achieved with carefully nurtured old vines.
This wine is a testament to Viv Thomson, who first made Pinot Meunier in 1967 and is still the Thomson family favourite.

No. 10 in James Suckling's TOP 100 WINES AUSTRALIA 2025
‘This is an outstanding bottling from the oldest producing pinot meunier vines in the world. It is perfumed and lifted, featuring aromas of red and purple fruits, subtle hints of raspberru bush, spice, lead pencil and underlying earthy tone.
The palate is medium-bodied, with silky tannins, bright acidity and a persistent length that offers both power and restraint. Magical, unique, yet so classic’. Drink now or hold. Screw cap. Rating 98 points
