Taltarni Pyrenees Shiraz 2022

Shiraz 91%, Mourvedre 7%, Cabernet Sauvignon 2%

With a deep red colour and violet hue, the 2022 Estate Shiraz emanates aromas of black fruits, pepper and spice with earthy overtones. This aroma is balanced perfectly with a medium-bodied wine that is equally rich in flavour. The dark forest fruits and subtle oak flavours complementt he persistent dusty tannins and chocolate notes on the finish.

An early spring allowed for a great start to the season where the grapes produced were concentrated in flavour and of the highest quality. Premium estate Shiraz parcels were harvested at site-specific times acrossfour weeks, allowing for true varietal and regional expression. Fermented in small batches, these parcels were kept separate throughout the winery process to maximise each parcel’s uniqueness.
