La Spia Valtellina Sassella PG40 DOCG 2019 x 6
Sassella is a red wine made from grapes from the homonymous historical subarea and probably most famous of the Valtellina Superiore appellation: west of Sondrio, from Castione Andevenno to capital, a rugged and sunny area.
PG40 is dedicated to Paganoni Giovanna, mother of the owner, Michele Rigamonti, born in 1940.
The label represents a work by the Milanese artist Luca Pignatelli.
The specification of Valtellina Superiore Sassella requires that it must be obtained from grapes from vineyards having, in the company, the following varietal composition:
Nebbiolo, (locally referred to as Chiavennasca) minimum 90%. Other non-aromatic red grape varieties suitable for cultivation in the province of Sondrio can contribute up to a maximum of 10% of the total.
