From the grape to the Dreissigacker Vintage Riesling

Wines from Dreissigacker stand for the highest quality, long maturation time under perfect conditions and, above all, for pure aromatics - including vintages. The grapes for this exceptional cuvée come from organically cultivated vineyards around Bechtheim. Due to the late-ripening Riesling grape variety, we harvest the grapes for Dreissigacker Vintages rather towards the end of the harvest of the respective vintage.

Vintages – a perfectly balanced and round Riesling, which nevertheless reflects the independence of each individual vintage.

Dreissigacker Vintage Riesling – a Riesling from seven vintages

The selectively harvested grapes for Dreissigacker Vintages rest on the mash for up to eight hours each vintage and are then gently pressed. After preliminary clarification by sedimentation, the wine ferments spontaneously. As with all Dreissigacker wines, we also take meticulous care to bring the wine to the bottle as unadulterated and carefully as possible.

The special feature of Vintages lies in the composition of several vintages. The first vintage edition, a cuvée of three different vintages, is expanded with each new vintage. In this way, we create an increasingly complex wine that combines the characteristics of the different years in perfect harmony.

Food pairing with vintage Riesling, we recommend fried chicken breast with ginger and noodles. As a vegetarian alternative, tagliatelle with short-cooked seasonal vegetables with Riesling sauce go perfectly with the wine.
